Our Last Anniversary

Hello from T House in Tagaytay! πŸ™‚ Today is our “last” anniversary (as boyfriend and girlfriend) because our wedding will be on October 11 next year. Hehe. During previous anniversaries/birthdays/other special occasions, we used to give each other gifts and go out somewhere fabulous. We would end up spending quite a lot of money! But now that we are preparing for our wedding, we have decided to save by doing away with the gifts and just going somewhere nice. For our special day today, Casey “kidnapped” me and brought me to T House Bed and Breakfast in Tagaytay. This place is beautiful! We got a free upgrade to their best room, a balcony suite (I don’t know how Casey managed it, but no complaints here)! One thing I particularly appreciate is that aside from the welcome drinks (iced tea), they gave us cookies, tea, and dried fruits to snack on. πŸ™‚

We had a good massage at their spa. We love to get massages together, and so we have pretty high expectations. So when I say it was a good massage, it was pretty good indeed. I would say that their massage is as good as the massages at The Spa. πŸ™‚

After the massage, we went back to the room to hang around while waiting for dinner to be ready. We found out that Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone was showing, and so we watched while waiting. The dinner was ready before the end of the movie, and so I reluctantly left the room (Casey told me that dinner would be served at their cafe). When we exited the room, Casey covered my eyes and led me to this surprise dinner set-up prepared just for us:

We had a beautiful candlelit dinner, and at the end, a surprise “anniversary dessert.” πŸ™‚

When we got back to the room, we found out that Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets was playing! A Harry Potter marathon! Whoopee!

Tagaytay, this cozy room, Harry Potter, a great massage, scrumptious food, and Casey–what more could I ask for? πŸ™‚
